To provide Site and Group Management with relevant, timely and accurate data to facilitate management of the business to agreed performance criteria, through Head Office and Dealership accounting staff and to act as a member of the Senior Management Team. To ensure compliance with Group and statutory accounting requirements and timetables.
Responsible for the running of all accounting (ADP Kerridge) and management information systems and internal control systems and to ensure that the business operated efficiently and complies with all internal and external requirements, including the production of accurate and meaningful accounts according to the Group timetable To provide additional management information, on an ad hoc basis to promote the performance of the Company.
Advise Branch and Group management of the implications of existing and proposed trading practices. To advise Branch and Departmental Management in the preparation of revenue and capital budgets and to be responsible for the co-ordination and submission of such data within agreed guidelines
Responsible for the consolidation of required information for half-yearly and annual accounts and tax and payroll computations to comply with Group timetables To provide support in respect of all Group acquisitions, ensuring that all relevant information is available to Senior Management and Main Board in respect of both Financial and Commercial implications, in respect of any planned acquisitions or disposals
To ensure that within the Company all Trade Associations policies, procedures and minimum standards are met and that all statutory requirements including trading standards, fire, health and safety are adhered to
