General Office Administrator

Central Oxford - Sommertown

Monday to Friday 9-5pm or 10-6pm

Full Time Permanent position

Active Staff are assisting our extremely reputable client to recruit for a General Office Administrator based in the centre of Oxford.

The candidate will need to have experience of client services or financial service administration who is happy to work in a small team or sometimes by themselves. Must have excellent written communication and organisational abilities. The successful candidate must also be able to work from his or her own initiative and be comfortable using on-line learning resources to guide them through tasks.

The role is primarily administrative and marketing based but there is opportunity for career development in the profession of wealth management and financial planning.

Responsibilities include diary management; processing new business; client record management; creating advice letters from templates; liaising with para-planners and financial services providers; event organisation and other general administration.

It is preferable that the candidate has a knowledge of the following

* Financial Planning

* Retirement

* Divorces (lawyers)

* Death (inheritance)

* Trusts

* Corporate Schemes – i.e. Health Insurance

* Pensions, Moving Pensions

* Exit sales of business
