Accounts Assistant

An established leading Property Management business based in Worcester is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. For this position previous accounts sector experience is required and ideal candidates will preferably have started their AAT.
Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, this role has responsibility for facilities management contracts (Concierge, Cleaning, site staff etc.) from point of quotation to contract management, sales invoicing, payroll analysis & reporting, and year end reviews. The role also includes responsibility for purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, and nominal reconciliations.

* Experience working in a finance environment
* Preferably studying towards AAT qualification
* Ability to rapidly gain a good understanding of unfamiliar computing systems
* PC literate and ideally with good knowledge of Excel
* Analytical skills, accompanied by an attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Enthusiastic team player
* Keen to take responsibility and use initiative
* Effective communicator who enjoys contact with non-finance staff and external contacts
* Professional approach to dealing with both internal and external clients
