Head Hunted recruitment are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their Norwich based client.

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding company. The role of the Finance Assistant is to support the Finance Manager ensuring the accounting processes and procedures for the business are implemented, ensuring reporting on the financial performance is communicated to key management and the Directors.

Finance Assistant Responsibilities and Duties:

* Preparation of contract sales invoices

* Covering Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control

* Raising invoices

* Checking all invoice information is correct and sending out to customers

* Reconciling invoices, resolving discrepancies

* Administration based tasks

* Processing staff expenses

* Chasing any outstanding payments payments from existing clients

Finance Assistant Person Specific:

* Proven admin skills and experience of working within a busy Finance team

* Excellent numeracy and keyboard skills

* Customer Service

* Able to organise own workload and work to tight deadlines

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work with external suppliers

* Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience an advantage

* Excellent telephone manner

* Sage 200 experience would be an advantage

Salary is circa 18K per annum
