Corporate Finance & Forensic Accounting Executive- Competitive salary
I a currently working with an award winning chartered accountancy firm that covers a range of different practices across East Anglia. The company are well established and for this opportunity, previous accountancy practice experience is essential.
This role is to join an expanding team and is diverse with a client portfolio including large family owned businesses and big corporates across a variety of sectors. These clients are based internationally as well as the UK. The team advises business owners looking to buy, sell or raise finance. Deal values because of the diversity of clients can vary from hundreds of thousands of pounds to tens of millions.
Forensic accounting cases include professional negligence, employee fraud, shareholder disputes and expert witness work. This is an exciting and hands on role with real scope to develop your existing finance and management skills. You will be expected to participate in all stages of research, investigation, reporting writing and preparing files and supporting documents for the manager/partner.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assistance on corporate finance transactions and financial due diligence
- Assistance on forensic accounting and expert witness assignments
- Involvement in the team s business development activities
- Ad hoc project work
To be successful in the role, you will need the following:
- ACA/ ACCA qualified or QBE or in the last year of your training contract
- Experience within an accountancy practice
Not necessary to have a forensic accounting or corporate finance background and would look at auditors who would be looking to move into this area
